What are Ideal Implants? How are they structured?
Ideal Implants are a type of uniquely designed breast implant. They were developed as a “happy medium” alternative between saline and silicone implants. The implant itself is formed by a series of shells carefully nested together. Inside, saline is held in two separate chambers. This internal structure controls the movement of the saline and helps the implant better maintain its shape.
What makes Ideal Implants special?
When it comes to implants, women usually have two choices: saline or silicone. Saline implants are filled with sanitized salt water, which can be safely absorbed by the body in the case of rupture. The downside of traditional saline implants is that they feel firmer and more structured than natural breasts. Silicone implants provide a softer, more natural feel and beautiful shape, but the body can’t absorb silicone leaks.
With Ideal Implants, women no longer have to choose. The implants are filled with saline and contain no silicone gel, but they can still hold their shape and feel natural to the touch. This “best of both worlds” scenario allows women to have more peace of mind while also enjoying fantastic results. The internal structure of the implant also prevents wrinkles and folds—issues that can cause implant rupture in the first place.
Who is a good candidate for Ideal Implants?
Ideal Implants work best for breast augmentation patients who want a genuine look and feel without the need for silicone. If you don’t want regular MRI scans to check on the status of your implants, the Ideal Implant option simplifies your life. However, Ideal Implants typically come as high-profile devices. If you would like less projection (how far the breast “sticks out” from the chest), this implant choice may not be for you.
