Meet the Team
Although Portland Plastic Surgery Group is led by a team of talented surgeons, our medical and administrative staff are the foundation of our practice. These skilled team members touch every aspect of the patient experience, from the first phone call to the final follow-up visit. Here, get to know our staff and learn why our practice stands apart from other plastic surgery centers in Portland.
Colleen was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. She is the youngest of 10 children and after being both a Husky (UW) and an Eagle (EWU) she ventured off to St. Louis University where she received her Physician Assistant education. After 5+ years working and learning the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery at large teaching hospitals she joined a private practice for 18 years and then Kaiser Permanente for the past 3 years. Therefore, she brings with her 25+ years of experience in plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine! Along with treating patients with BOTOX®, dermal fillers, lasers and minor office procedures, Colleen will be assisting the surgeons in the operating room and an integral part of the patient care team here at Portland Plastic Surgery Group. She is an avid Seahawks fan, loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
Lauren began her nursing career in 2011 and comes to us with a background in oncology and aesthetics. She enjoys getting to know her patients and learning about their lives. Lauren is fascinated by the mind‐body connection and works to provide care that is holistic, encompassing the physical, mental and emotional aspects of her patients. In her free time, Lauren enjoys being active and spending time with family and friends. While at home in Portland, she spends as much time as possible with her little nephew Camden. She also takes every opportunity she can to travel often visiting her family’s cabin in Montana which she considers to be her “happy place” and second home.
Amanda began her nursing career in outpatient surgery in 2011. She has been working as a nurse in plastic surgery for three years before she joined the team at Portland Plastic Surgery. She was drawn to plastic surgery because of the way it combines science and beauty. “My nursing approach is warm and compassionate patient care whether I’m supporting patients through their body transformations or encouraging breast reconstructive patients through their cancer journeys. As a cosmetic injector, my goal is to accentuate each person’s unique features with natural looking facial enhancements.” When she’s not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She also enjoys expressing her creativity through cooking, painting and photography.
Cheri was born in Grants Pass, Oregon and grew up in California. She relocated to the Portland area in August 2016. She started her medical career in 2001 as a pharmacy technician and gradually moved through the entire revenue cycle field from billing, to charge capture, to collections and financial aid. She is happy to be bringing her years of experience to Portland Plastic Surgery Group. Cheri enjoys helping patients understand the complex world of billing. In her spare time, she spends time with her family and enjoys reading, cooking, camping, and traveling.
A Florida native, Martha moved to Oregon 4 years ago to get a better education in esthetics. She loved esthetician school so much she continued her education and earned her Advanced Esthetician certificate! She loves to stay up-to-date with the new trends in the advanced esthetics field.
Martha is very family-oriented. Her family still lives in Florida, and she enjoys returning home to visit them when she can to visit them, including her 2 amazing nephews. Outside of the office, she loves to explore all of the amazing spots that Oregon has to offer, she loves to cook and loves to travel.
Shannon has been working in the plastic surgery field since 2012, and she’s excited to join the talented team at Portland Plastic Surgery Group. Shannon’s favorite part of her job is patient care. Each day, she makes it her personal mission to give her patients a reason to smile by making them comfortable and providing the best support possible. She takes a special interest in breast reconstruction patients and is passionate about helping these women reclaim their lives after cancer.
Shannon is a Portland girl and a true Oregonian. She has many pastimes including camping, hiking, fitness, photography, cooking, live music, and travel. Her large network of family and friends is the most important aspect of her life.

She has a diverse medical background, having worked in ER, Ob-Gyn, orthopedics (spine) and family practice doctors and is now working in the plastic and reconstructive surgery field at Portland Plastic Surgery. Joy’s passion is making every patient’s experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible, whether they are here for cosmetic or medical reasons. She believes that each and every patient has a story that is unique and should be treated as an individual. “I have had a passion to take care of others since I could remember; to be able to provide support, care and comfort for cancer patients and to help them reclaim their lives.” Joy has 2 grown daughters and a 4-year-old granddaughter, who are her life. They spend a lot of valuable time together. Outside of the office, Joy enjoys focusing on fitness, hiking, camping, riding quads and exploring the beautiful PNW, and spending time with her granddaughter.
Patient Care Coordinator
Stacey has 30 years of experience working at surgical practices. As our Patient Care Coordinator, she arranges in-office visits, coordinates surgery schedules, and guides patients through the sometimes-complicated intake and post-operative process. A native of North Bend, she relishes Oregon’s beaches, especially in the wintertime. Stacey is a novice birder, enjoys spending time with her Chihuahua and Shiba Inu dogs, and prefers Walla Walla over California reds.
Tara is a native to the Northwest. She has 25 years in the medical field with a range of experience but billing has been her passion the last 10 years. She is excited to be a part of Portland Plastic Surgery Group and enjoys the sometimes-complicated world of Insurance billing and helping patients navigate the maze. She has 3 grown children that live in Washington and cherishes times with them. She also enjoys spending time with local family and friends. Kayaking, walking, Lego, movies and trying new things and going to live events are some of the things she enjoys in her spare time. One of her new favorite things to do is attend some of the local celebrity fan events/conventions and meet a few of her favorite celebrities while seeing the amazing costumes some very talented fans recreate and take pictures with them.

Would not be out of the ordinary to see her out shopping at the Carters or Macys stores.
Front Desk Coordinator
A Southern girl at heart, Briana was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She met her husband, who’s originally from Oregon, in Tennessee, which led her to make the big decision to move to Oregon. Brianna has been working in reception for 7 years. Her favorite part of her job is connecting with the patients and being able to put a smile on their faces.
When Brianna is not working, you can find her on the dance floor, hitting happy hour, relaxing with her yellow lab, Moose, or watching a movie with a glass of wine. She has an infectious smile and laugh and she is often the first one giggling at her own jokes.
