Your Experience

Whether you visit us for a full day of treating yourself or a quick treatment session, you can expect the same great service from Portland Plastic Surgery Group. Once you’re here, you’ll be provided with a soft, comfortable robe and headband. You’ll dress down in your treatment room, so your belongings will stay near you at all times.

If you’re having a facial service, it’s ideal (but not required) for you to arrive without makeup. Every facial ends with an application of tinted moisturizer. If you’re having a peel or dermaplaning treatment, keep in mind that we recommend avoiding makeup application after your treatment for the remainder of the day.

We don’t require you to arrive early to your appointment, but we would like to remind you that arriving late results in a shorter service. To enjoy the best experience possible, please arrive on time.

CoolSculpting

This non-invasive procedure contours your body by freezing away stubborn areas of body fat.

PlasmaPen MD

Tighten skin, resurface acne scars, and improve fine lines in delicate areas of the face such as eyelids, brows & upper lip. The PlasmaPen MD rejuvenates skin from the inside out by stimulating collagen and elastin production

Erbium Laser Resurfacing

Fractional non-ablative skin resurfacing and laser peeling. More aggressive rejuvenation with more discomfort and downtime but treats fine lines, wrinkles, improves texture, pore size, and acne scars. This treatment requires a consult to evaluate and prepare you for the procedure and sometimes will need a pre-treatment with skin care.

Best done in the Fall, Winter or Spring, and we recommend staying out of the sun for at least one month.

Microneedling

Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of the skin. These wounds allow for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair process by automatically triggering new collagen synthesis without causing scar tissue formation.

SkinPen is a medical-grade, state-of-the-art microneedling device that is designed to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and scars. It is currently the only FDA approved microneedling device on the market and is safe for all skin types.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

This treatment uses light therapy to penetrate deep into the skin, targeting age spots, wrinkles, sun damage, small blood vessels, and rosacea. A consultation is needed for treatment, which may be done at the time of your appointment.

Laser Hair Removal

We recommend 6-9 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart.

VI Peel

A controlled, safe, yet strong peel that is excellent for renewing skin. This blend of TCA, salicylic acid, and retinoic acid can be done up to 4 times a year to address hyperpigmentation, sun damage, fine lines, and overall anti-aging. There is also the “VI Peel Purify” which is for acneic skin. It has benzoyl peroxide, kojic acid, and hydrocortisone.

ZO 3-Step Peel

This peel blends exfoliant acids and retinol to reveal softer, smoother and tighter skin. This peel is good for improving acne, melasma, skin tone, texture and dullness. Retinol requirements needed for this peel.

Facial Treatments

Dermaplaning

An aesthetic grade, sterile blade gently “shaves off” dead skin cells from the epidermis, along with fine/vellus hair. This procedure leaves the skin with a very smooth surface, reducing the appearance of fine lines, evening out skin tone, relieving skin congestion, and allowing for better product penetration.

“Not Your Average Facial”

A little bit of everything! We start this treatment with dermaplaning or exfoliation, followed by an IPL to reduce reds and browns, and finish your treatment with a facial massage and ZO Skin Health product application.

Photo-facial

Energize and rehydrate your skin with this unique facial that combines dermaplaning, extractions, a ZO stimulator peel and facial massage to effectively enhance the brightness and quality of your skin.
